Pistoia, capital of culture in 2017, is a art city of great value but famous in Europe above all for the production of its nurseries that export ornamental plants all over the world, but it is also an interesting destination from a gastronomic point of view . In the city center there is an old confectionery that has been producing sugared almonds and chocolate with artisan care for almost a century. Here a course for the creation of pralines and chocolates will be organized for chocolate lovers.
The course will be divided into a “theoretical” and of course and above all “practical” phase with the possibility of preparing and taking away your own productions. A small “certificate” will be issued especially in memory of such a greedy experience. After the course, the participants can visit the city at their leisure and linger in the splendid Piazza della Sala. It is a square that is located in the beating heart of the city and where there are still the old shops of the past. It is a pedestrian area that allows the visitor to take a dip in the past and to still find typical cold cuts and cheeses, firstling of vegetables and fruit and the Tuscan truffle. We suggest that participants enter the shops for the joy of sight and smell, here you can breathe the smells of the ancient gastronomic tradition.
